The Free Website Offer

How the free build works, and why there is no catch.

Is it really free?
Yes. I build your website at no cost. No hidden fees, no obligation. I do this because I love building websites, and great work leads to great relationships.
What's the catch?
There isn't one. You get a real, custom-built website. If you love the result, we can talk about hosting, maintenance, or additional features — but there's zero pressure.
How long does it take?
Most websites are delivered within 1-2 weeks after our initial call. Simple sites can be ready in as little as 48 hours.
What if I already have a website?
I can rebuild it from scratch with modern technology, better performance, and mobile optimization. Your current site stays live until the new one is ready.
What technologies do you use?
React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and AWS. Your site will be fast, secure, and built with the same tools used by top tech companies.
Do you do e-commerce?
Yes. I can integrate payment processing, product catalogs, and shopping carts using Stripe and other modern e-commerce tools.
Will my website be mobile-friendly?
Absolutely. Every website I build is mobile-first — designed for phones first, then enhanced for tablets and desktops. Over 60% of web traffic is mobile.
Do you help with SEO?
Every website I build includes technical SEO fundamentals: fast loading, proper meta tags, structured data, and mobile optimization. For ongoing SEO and content strategy, we can discuss a retainer.

Pricing & What It Costs

Where the free site ends and a paid engagement begins.

If the website is free, how do you make money?
I build the website itself for free because I love the work and great results lead to great relationships — an approach that has produced 83+ websites and applications so far. Some clients later ask me to add features beyond a standard site — custom web applications, payment processing, AI automation, or ongoing maintenance — and those are paid. None of it is required.
Are there any hidden fees or contracts?
No. The free website is genuinely free — no setup fee, no contract, no obligation. If we ever work on paid features later, I quote that separately and clearly before any work starts.
What costs money after the free site?
Only things beyond a standard website: custom web applications (authentication, dashboards, databases), e-commerce and payment processing, AI and automation workflows, or an ongoing hosting and maintenance plan. Each is an optional, separately quoted add-on.
Do you charge for hosting or maintenance?
The website is yours to host wherever you like. If you would rather I handle hosting and ongoing updates, we can set up a simple maintenance plan — but it is optional, not a condition of the free build.

Business Process Automation

How DevMellio automates repetitive work and what that looks like in practice.

What is business process automation?
Business process automation is the use of custom software and AI workflows to replace manual, repetitive tasks inside a business — things like lead routing, intake forms, data entry, report generation, and follow-up emails. DevMellio, based in Denver, Colorado, builds these systems for small businesses across 15 industries.
What kinds of processes can DevMellio automate?
DevMellio automates four main categories: lead capture and follow-up (routing, logging, and auto-replying to every inbound lead), intake and scheduling (self-serve booking that collects information and drops appointments on your calendar), data entry and reporting (moving data between tools and building reports on a schedule), and AI workflows (assistants that qualify leads, answer FAQs, and triage repetitive decisions).
Do I need to change the tools I already use?
No. DevMellio builds automations around the tools a business already uses — Google Workspace, QuickBooks, HubSpot, Salesforce, and most industry-specific software. If a better tool fits the problem, it will be mentioned, but there is no requirement to switch anything.
How much does business process automation cost?
DevMellio starts every engagement with a free business website so clients can see the quality of the work before committing to a paid project. Automation projects are scoped on a free 15-minute strategy call — most small-business automations run from a few hundred to a few thousand dollars depending on complexity and the number of systems involved.

Process & Getting Started

What happens from the first call to launch, and what DevMellio needs from you.

What is the process from the first call to launch?
DevMellio follows three steps. First, a 15-minute call where you describe your business and where time gets lost — DevMellio listens. Second, the free website is built and you review and approve. Third, the site goes live and, if automation makes sense, a proposal is scoped from the call notes.
What do you need from me to get started?
Just a short conversation about your business, your goals, and any content you already have (logo, photos, services, hours). If you do not have everything ready, that is fine — DevMellio works from what is available and fills in the gaps.
How involved do I need to be?
As little as you want. After the initial 15-minute call DevMellio handles the design and build. You review the result and request changes. Most clients spend an hour or two total before their site is live.
How do we get started?
Fill out the contact form at devmellio.com/contact/ or book a free 15-minute call directly. DevMellio follows up the same day. That call is where the website plan and any automation opportunities are mapped out.

Getting Found Online (SEO & AI)

How the site helps customers and AI assistants find your business.

Will my website show up on Google?
Yes. DevMellio builds every website with the technical SEO fundamentals search engines require: fast loading, clean structure, proper meta tags, structured data (JSON-LD), and mobile optimization. That foundation is included in every free website. For ongoing content strategy and link building, DevMellio can discuss a retainer after the initial site is live.
Do you do local SEO for Denver and Colorado businesses?
Yes. DevMellio is a Denver-based consultancy and builds local-SEO structure into every site — LocalBusiness structured data, optimized meta tags, and dedicated location pages for 10 Colorado cities, including Denver, Lakewood, Aurora, Boulder, and Colorado Springs — so local businesses rank for the searches that matter in their area.
Can my business be found by AI assistants like ChatGPT?
Yes. DevMellio designs every site to be cited by AI answer engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews. This means machine-readable structured data (Organization, LocalBusiness, FAQ, and Service schemas), self-contained Q&A answers, and clear entity signals so AI systems can understand and accurately describe your business.

Technical, Ownership & Security

What the site is built with, who owns it, and how you keep it current.

Do I own the website and its content?
Yes — DevMellio builds the website for you, and you own it entirely. There is no lock-in. You can host it yourself, move it to any hosting provider, or have someone else maintain it at any time.
Can I update the website myself later?
Yes. DevMellio can handle ongoing updates, or set you up so you can make simple edits yourself. The right approach depends on how hands-on you want to be — either way is fine.
Is the website fast and secure?
Yes. DevMellio builds every site with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS, hosted on AWS CloudFront — globally distributed, served over HTTPS, and mobile-first. Over 60% of web traffic is mobile, so every DevMellio site is designed for phones first.
Can you connect booking, forms, or payments?
Yes. DevMellio can wire in booking tools (Cal.com, Calendly, Acuity), contact and quote-request forms that route to your email or CRM, and payment processing with Stripe. Removing the back-and-forth between a visitor and a booking is often the single biggest lead-generation improvement for a small business.

Working Together

Who DevMellio works with, where, and how much capacity there is.

Do you only work with Denver businesses?
No. DevMellio is a Denver-based automation consultancy and works with businesses across Colorado and the US. Most work is done remotely — no in-person meeting required. The free strategy call is a 15-minute video or phone call wherever you are.
What kinds of businesses do you work with?
DevMellio has built 83+ websites and applications across 15 industries — including restaurants, contractors, salons, dentists, real estate, law firms, fitness studios, auto repair shops, landscaping businesses, and more. If a business has repetitive manual work or needs a professional web presence, it is a fit.
How many free websites do you take on at a time?
DevMellio takes on a limited number of free builds each week (around three) so each project gets real attention. The sooner we talk, the sooner the build can start.
