The Free Website Offer
How the free build works, and why there is no catch.
- Is it really free?
- Yes. I build your website at no cost. No hidden fees, no obligation. I do this because I love building websites, and great work leads to great relationships.
- What's the catch?
- There isn't one. You get a real, custom-built website. If you love the result, we can talk about hosting, maintenance, or additional features — but there's zero pressure.
- How long does it take?
- Most websites are delivered within 1-2 weeks after our initial call. Simple sites can be ready in as little as 48 hours.
- What if I already have a website?
- I can rebuild it from scratch with modern technology, better performance, and mobile optimization. Your current site stays live until the new one is ready.
- What technologies do you use?
- React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and AWS. Your site will be fast, secure, and built with the same tools used by top tech companies.
- Do you do e-commerce?
- Yes. I can integrate payment processing, product catalogs, and shopping carts using Stripe and other modern e-commerce tools.
- Will my website be mobile-friendly?
- Absolutely. Every website I build is mobile-first — designed for phones first, then enhanced for tablets and desktops. Over 60% of web traffic is mobile.
- Do you help with SEO?
- Every website I build includes technical SEO fundamentals: fast loading, proper meta tags, structured data, and mobile optimization. For ongoing SEO and content strategy, we can discuss a retainer.
Pricing & What It Costs
Where the free site ends and a paid engagement begins.
- If the website is free, how do you make money?
- I build the website itself for free because I love the work and great results lead to great relationships. Some clients later ask me to add features beyond a standard site — custom web applications, payment processing, AI automation, or ongoing maintenance — and those are paid. None of it is required.
- Are there any hidden fees or contracts?
- No. The free website is genuinely free — no setup fee, no contract, no obligation. If we ever work on paid features later, I quote that separately and clearly before any work starts.
- What costs money after the free site?
- Only things beyond a standard website: custom web applications (authentication, dashboards, databases), e-commerce and payment processing, AI and automation workflows, or an ongoing hosting and maintenance plan. Each is an optional, separately quoted add-on.
- Do you charge for hosting or maintenance?
- The website is yours to host wherever you like. If you would rather I handle hosting and ongoing updates, we can set up a simple maintenance plan — but it is optional, not a condition of the free build.
Process & Getting Started
What happens from the first call to launch, and what I need from you.
- What is the process from our first call to launch?
- Three steps. First, a quick call where you tell me about your business and I listen. Second, I design and build your entire website, and you just review and approve. Third, your site goes live and starts getting you found online.
- What do you need from me to get started?
- Just a short conversation about your business, your goals, and any content you already have (logo, photos, services, hours). If you do not have everything ready, that is fine — I can work from what you give me and fill in the gaps.
- How involved do I need to be?
- As little as you want. After the initial call I handle the design and development. You review the result and request changes. Most clients spend an hour or two total before their site is live.
- How do we get started?
- Book a free call or send your details through the contact form, and I'll follow up the same day with a link to schedule. That call is where we map out exactly what I'll build.
Getting Found Online (SEO & AI)
How the site helps customers and AI assistants find your business.
- Will my website show up on Google?
- Every site I build includes the technical SEO fundamentals search engines look for: fast loading, clean structure, proper meta tags, structured data, and mobile optimization. That is the foundation for ranking. For ongoing content and SEO strategy, we can discuss a retainer.
- Do you do local SEO for Denver and Colorado businesses?
- Yes. I build local-SEO structure into the site — location-relevant pages, structured data for local search, and clean, fast pages — so businesses across Denver and Colorado can be found by nearby customers searching for what they offer.
- Can my business be found by AI assistants like ChatGPT?
- Yes — and it is something I design for. I add machine-readable structured data (Organization, LocalBusiness, FAQ, and Service schemas) and clear, well-written answers so AI answer engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews can understand and cite your business accurately.
Technical, Ownership & Security
What the site is built with, who owns it, and how you keep it current.
- Do I own the website and its content?
- Yes. It is your website. There is no lock-in — you can host it yourself, move it, or have someone else maintain it. I build it for you, not to trap you.
- Can I update the website myself later?
- Tell me what you need and I can handle updates, or set you up so you can make simple edits yourself. We figure out the right approach for how hands-on you want to be.
- Is the website fast and secure?
- Yes. Sites are built with modern technology (React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS) and hosted on AWS infrastructure — fast loading, served over HTTPS, and mobile-first. Over 60% of web traffic is mobile, so every site is designed for phones first.
- Can you connect booking, forms, or payments?
- Yes. I can wire in booking tools (Cal.com, Calendly, Acuity), contact and quote-request forms that route to your email or a CRM, and payment processing with Stripe. Removing the back-and-forth is often the single biggest lead-generation improvement for a small business.
Working Together
Who I work with, where, and how much capacity I have.
- Do you only work with Denver businesses?
- I'm a Denver-based web designer and I work with businesses across Colorado and beyond. The work is remote-friendly, so we can build your site wherever your business is.
- What kinds of businesses do you work with?
- I have built 83+ websites across 15 industries — including restaurants, contractors, salons, dentists, real estate, law, fitness, auto repair, landscaping, and more. If your business needs a professional web presence, it is a fit.
- How many free websites do you take on at a time?
- I take on a limited number of free builds each week (around three) so each one gets real attention. The sooner we talk, the sooner I can start on yours.
